Wave your Trek flag proudly with this Star Trek Inspired Shrug.

The Star Trek insignia delta shape is enclosed in boxes in a repeating pattern that can be made to any size you like. Made into a rectangle shape, the outer corners are connected and edging is added to both make the shrug shape, but also to add a collar and arm bands. These are completely adjustable.

This pattern uses simple stitches and includes diagrams for the visual learners out there. It only uses basic stitches, but to get the delta to look right you need to skip or double stitches. An experienced beginner should be able to make it easily.

I’ve made it in a great self-striping yarn that I found online with colors that are almost perfectly Trek, but desaturated just enough for every day wear. I’ve also included information on 5 other colors they offer of this yarn if you want something solid. The skeins are BIG for the price. And since you can customize the size, you can make this in any yarn or gauge you would like!
