This shawl progresses rapidly from a 3 stitch start into a comfortable triangle wrap. Using attached I-cord along the top edge gives a smooth finish, while the other edge handles all of the increases and decreases. You can play with the color stripes as much as you like, keeping a symmetrical arrangement, or going for an asymmetrical look to catch the eye.

The main color used about 1.5 skeins, so I would estimate 600 yards to be enough if you are tight on yarn. The gradient minis, at 80 yards each, were enough for the stripes shown, without much left over.
