Knit with 6-10 oz of yarn (depending on the desired size) in anything from sock to worsted weight yarn, this pattern is a “knit until you run out of yarn” style pattern, so it’s perfect for your handspun or those skeins that you want to use every possible bit of yardage. Pattern includes both written directions and a chart, and also has directions for both a stockinette and a garter stitch version.

Materials needed:
Approx 6-10 oz of yarn and appropriate sized needles for your chosen yarn weight,
(rainbow shawl pictured used 6 oz and measures 59” between wingtips, 450 yds of DK weight handspun yarn)

4-6 stitchmarkers, Note: You may wish to use a slightly different marker to denote the center stitch.
circular needles, approx 42-60” long, size needed for gauge
optional: small scale to measure remaining yarn

Gauge varies based on yarn selected:
approx 7(5, 4) sts per inch on size US 4(6, 8) with sock ( DK, worsted ) yarn
