J’achète pas mal de laine à chaussettes à rayures, mais à un moment donné, je voulais avoir un petit travail de plus que le simple jersey, et que ce soit amusant avec cette laine. C’est pourquoi j’ai créé ce joli motif vagué pour des chaussettes de la pointe en montant. Ils demandent un peu de concentration, mais sans exagération : Ça se fait sur 2 rangs. C’est tout!
Attention, il FAUT qu’il y ait des rayures pour que ce soit joli, quitte à les faire vous-même avec vos restes de laine!

Fourniture
 Laine grosseur no 1 (fingering), 100 g.
Privilégiez une laine à chaussettes (75 ou 80 % laine et 20 ou 25% nylon) rayée, qui donnera plus d’effet qu’une simple laine unie. Ici, j’ai utilisé la Jawool color. Vous pourriez aussi utiliser des restes de laine, en faisant des rayures, vous aurez votre effet « vagué »
 Une aiguille circulaire de 80 cm/32’’ et 2.5 mm ou pour l’échantillon demandé
Échantillon : 30 m X 44 rgs pour 10 cm/4’’ en jersey (tout en rond)
N.B. Le point vagué fait un peu plus serré que le jersey, en tenir compte pour le choix de la taille

I buy a lot of striped sock yarn, but at some point, I was looking for something more than a simple stockinet stitch to do with this yarn, and I wanted it fun to make. This is the reason why I created this very simple design for toes up socks. The pattern requires just a little bit more concentration than stockinet, but not that much: It takes 2 rows to complete the design. That’s all!
Make sure to use striped yarn, not solid, otherwise it’ll be a little too ordinary. Or, you could, also, make your own stripes with leftover yarn that you have.
Notions
 Fingering weight yarn (no 1), 100 g.
Choose striped sock yarn (75 or 80% wool and 20 or 25% nylon), that’ll give more effect than solid yarn. For my blues socks, I used Jawool color. You could also use remaining of yarns, making your own stripes to have your wave effect.
 Circular needle of 32’’/80 cm and Us1.5 or to obtain mentioned gauge
Gauge : 30 sts X 44 rows for 4’’/10 cm in stockinet (all k in round)
N.B. Wave design fit tighter on foot than stockinet: take it into account for your size choice.
