The original REST AREA was inspired by my Give Me Strength Blanket & designed in DK weight Yarn.

In 2024 I experimented with using a SINGLE SKEIN of FINGERING WEIGHT YARN because I was unwell & wanting to knit something I could pick up & put down without having to think too much about what I was doing.
Before I knew it I had I cast one off & was casting on another, ending up knitting 5 in about a month! The whole experience was therapeutic, & SO MUCH FUN, especially when I discovered that self striping/patterned yarns work brilliantly in this design.

The pattern includes instructions for knitting this design to your preferred length & can be stopped at any point by following the very simple guidelines included.
