The Restalrig jumper is knit up in 4 panels: Front, back and two sides and sewn together. Finishing with a neckband knit flat and joined at the front, and two armbands knit in the round. The front and back use a slip stitch motif while the sides are completed in stocking stitch. The garment has 3cm/ 1.5” ease. Due to the nature of the design, panels can be mixed and matched with some modification to length of each panel.

This pattern has been made multiple times in different sizes/ combinations but hasn’t been fully test knit any issues please let me know.

Tools/ needles: 3.5mm/ US size 4 straight needles, Set of 3.5mm/ US size 4 DPNs, tapestry needle, stitch holder/waste yarn

Gauge: 33 st by 37 st for 10 cm/ 4” swatch in stocking stitch, 33 st by 64 rows 10 cm/4” swatch in slip stitch motif.

1 (1,1,1,2,2,2,3) balls 100g of Scottish Yarn Festival 4 ply as CC
