This shawl is made to use up your sock yarn leftovers. Of course it can be done in other yarns as well, but if you want to get rid of those leftovers, here you are.
The shawl can be done in any size that you want, just crochet until you have reached your desired size. Wingspan of mine is 160 cm, it used up 620 m of fingering sock yarn. The winged shape is achieved by crocheting short rows.
The English version of the pattern uses American crochet terms.
