Blocks and bars ornament this lacy, openwork top. Worked side to side in a soft, cotton yarn, you can toss it over a bathing suit, T-shirt, or another tank top to quickly dress up your most casual summer look, or make it in a more wintery yarn to later over a thermal shirt or long-sleeved T.

Gauge given is approximately 16 sts and 8 rows to 4”/10cm in pattern stitch on a G/6/4mm hook. Pattern is very stretchy so exact gauge is not critical.

S - 2X = 36” - 52” finished bust. Labeled Intermediate, not because the stitch pattern is difficult but because the armhole shaping and piece joining requires a bit of concentration.
