This simple and meditative shawl is knit flat from a narrow edge that continues to widen and increase along one side. The main portion of the body is worked with reverse stockinette on the right side and then a simple 1x1 cable pattern begins. While a cable needle can be used (and instructions are given as such), these stitches can easily be worked without the use of a cable needle. The shawl is finished with a neat i-cord bind-off along the longest edge. The nature of the Nutmeg Fibers Retreat base results in a shawl that is rustic in texture, but next-to-skin soft, with incredible drape after blocking!
