Inspired by Madelinetosh’s amazing color, Cardigan, I designed this pair of mitts with a simple, offset slipped stitch panel. It has been quite a while since I designed a new pattern so this is my Return Point to designing! I’ve incorporated a little combination knitting to neaten up some stitches. (optional)

If you’ve lost some of your knitting mojo too, grab a yarn you love and soon, these mitts with the entertaining but easy, wavy slipped stitches, will fly off the needles.

A chart is included for the slipped stitch panel and directions for how to cable without a cable needle are also included. I’ve also added simple directions for purling clockwise (combination knitting) which will keep the column of stitches next to the slipped stitch panel nice and tidy.
