The Return to Roots Cowl is a visual representation of my journey of connecting to my cultural heritage. Alternating between sections of cables, representing roots, and lace, representing blooming flowers, this design highlights the never-ending, yet rewarding journey of deepening one’s connection. There are times when one has to put in the work, the effort, and the desire to connect, but after a period of time, the rewards are bountiful. And this cycle goes on forever and forever, as each step in the journey brings new challenges and rewards.
