Cernunnos - typically depicted as a human figure with stag antlers, is the Celtic god of the forest and wild animals. The shedding and regrowth of the stag’s antlers symbolise new beginnings.

This set, in forest green with antler stitch, is a reminder of ancient, simpler, and more natural times. A return to nature, wild animals and the forest.

The cowl is knitted in one piece, joined with buttons and buttonholes.

The hat rim is knitted first and joined at the short edges. Stitches are picked up along one side of the rim for the crown, and worked in the round to the top of the crown.
