These socks were cast on during a summer vacation to Vancouver. The drive was long, and we decided to stop halfway in the rather charming town of Revelstoke, BC.
Nestled between towering Rockies and surrounded by lakes and rivers, the town provided us with the rest and relaxation
we needed to continue our journey the next day.

This sock was designed with the bright lakes in mind. The travelling bands remind one of ripples on water, while the
ribbing hints of stones that can be seen through the glass-like surface of the mountain water. The pattern is easily
committed to memory, and therefore, it is suitable for a beginner.

The pattern boasts a patterned heel flap, patterned toes and a nice, stretchy fit.
