Reversible bobble stitch is very easy to make but gives a wonderful soft bobble row on each side. it uses just a few stitches but gives a great finished item. I used a 5.5 mm hook for casting on and the 1st row, then changed to a 5 mm. I used stylecraft special dk yarn and the specified hook is 4 mm. this will give a more compact bobble . Personally, I prefer the softer feel , using a larger hook gives.
You, of course can use whatever hook you want to. I’ve also included 2 border patterns , 1 is a picot edge and the other is a shell edge.
I’ve made this blanket in many colours and it has always been well used and loved by the recipients.
