What could be more beautiful than the flowers of the deep…. sea anemones!

This pdf contains two sea anemone patterns, one for a large sea anemone and one for a small sea anemone. Both are designed so that their tentacles can be drawn inside of them, as though they have been retracted for the low tide, or partially retracted as though digesting dinner!

When worked in worsted-weight yarn, the small anemone will be approximately 2.5 inches by 2 inches by 2.5 inches (at the top), and the large anemone will be approximately 3 inches by 2 inches by 4.5 inches (at the top), although sizes will of course vary with yarn and stitching. Both are worked in multiple separate parts; instructions for assembly are at the end.
