The Reversible Step One Hat matches the Reversible Step One Cowl and is designed as an introduction to Fusion Knitting. This technique creates a fabric with drape similar to garter stitch and looks like a different colour on each side. This hat is knit in the round starting with a garter stitch brim.

The MC yarn creates the cables on the right side/outside of you the hat. The CC yarn creates the cables on the wrong side/inside of the hat. Two cable stitches are used to create lines that spiral up the hat. Picture tutorials are included to show how I work these cables. The Reversible Step One Cowl teaches the same techniques.
