There are always new ideas for this series of patterns, and this time I have chosen to collect 3 small projects that are suitable for a yoga session or as a little extra warmth for a cold evening on the couch. The pattern includes a pair of leg warmers, a hot water bottle cover and an easy vest with ties in the sides. The projects only have one size per project, but there are instructions on how to change the size slightly. The leg warmers have a single ribbing that follows the sides along the height while increases are made to shape it like a calf. The hot water bottle cover also has a ribbing in the sides to get a little more flexibility when using it, and the vest is knitted in garter stitch with a final icord as an edge and tie. I have chosen to use the same yarn as in the previous patterns, but these projects can be knitted in other kinds of yarn as well.

The leg warmers are knitted bottom up, starting with a single ribbing. The ribbing continues in the sides, and increases are made at given intervals towards the back of the calf. They are finished with a single ribbing. The hot water bottle cover starts with Judy’s magic cast on to get a closed bottom, and is knitted upwards. A single ribbing is made in each side and some rows with increases are made at the beginning to round off the edges. At the end many stitches are decreased over fewer rounds for shaping. The finishing is a single ribbing. The vest is knitted back and forth in garter stitch. You can also knit in stockinette if you prefer that, but the garment will have a slightly different thickness and a little less flexibility. The tie should be placed between the bust and the waist. This placing varies with the height of the person who will wear it. The edges and tie are an icord that is knitted as a last feature. The garment is shaped slightly around the neck using increases.

Full height: 39 cm/ 15.4“
Bottom circumference: 20 cm/ 7.9“
Top circumference: 30 cm/ 11.8“

Hot water bottle cover:
Full height body: 27 cm/ 10.6”
Spout height: 7 cm/ 2.7”
Width measured flat: 20 cm/ 7.9 “

Vest:
Full length: 49 cm/ 19.3”
Width measured flat: 36 cm/ 14.2”
