This pattern was designed as part of the 2025 Hill Country Yarn Crawl in Texas.

Wear this shrug many ways! The back & sleeves are reversible – there is no “wrong side” & you can wear it “right-side up” or “up-side down”. As for the yarn, Cowgirlblues is a fabulous indie dyer from South Africa that’s new to the US.

Gauge isn’t important but make sure you like the fabric density, particularly on the sleeves.

Materials
-1 (or more) skein(s) (220yds) Fluffy Mohair, DK (#3)
-1 skein Proper Sock (400yds), Fingering (#1)
-Crochet Hooks: US F (3.75mm), US M/N (9mm) & N/P (10mm)
-Stitch markers

The pattern is easily customizable. Just add to the length of the back panel to make it longer or wider. The sleeves can be attached to the top and bottom or to either side depending on the the width you would like. This will allow you fit as wide or long as you’d like.
