The charm-point of this pattern is “rib-stitch”　which is usually used for leaf motifs of irish crochet.

With this technic, you can also make lovely rose-motif, zig-zag edging and more.

Make all flower motifs at first. Later fill the space between motifs with filet-chrochet.
