Ribbed baby socks with easy heel shaping and rounded toe.

This pattern offers a baby size based on the Ribbed Socks pattern that was published by Linda D. Shoup. Stitches for toe and join are different.

These are intended to fit a variety (size and shape) of baby feet. The rib is crocheted flat, joined with a slip stitch, and the toe made in a spiral. In addition, the toe starts where the initial chain begins so you can crochet over that end in as you do the toe. You will be left with only one end to weave in right at the tip of the toe.

Baby 6 to 18 months
Toe to Heel 3.5”, 9cm
Heel to Top 3”, 7cm
Top of foot to Top 2.5”, 5cm
Circumference (at toe) 4”, 10cm (stretches to 5”, 12cm)

Has negative ease.

Gauge:
sc rib 2”x2” – 12 stitches by 13 rows
