This pair of boot cuffs works up quickly using post stitches, so it’s a great pattern for beginners too. The combination of post stitches creates texture, depth and stretch. Make a pair today to match your outfit and create a new look with your favorite pair of boots.

Stitches Used:
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
slst: slip stitch
hdc: half double crochet
fsc: foundation single crochet
st(s): stitch(es)
bpd: backpost double crochet
fpdc: frontpost double crochet

Additional Terms

At the beginning of the round, single crochet in the first stitch, ch 2. This replaces chain 3 at the beginning of the round to minimize the appearance of a gap when joining the round.

Gauge: 15 stitches x 11 rows = 4 in x 4 in (10 cm x 10 cm)

Measurements: 11.5 in (28.5 cm) circumference without stretching x 6 in (15 cm) tall; this boot cuff is stretchy and will comfortably fit most legs.
