YOU WILL NEED:

• 120-130 of Alize Merino Royal* yarn (100% merino wool) 100 m in 50 gr,
• 4.5 mm crochet hook (or any other size to obtain gauge) ,
• stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors.

Yarn substitution: Fibranatura Dona, BBB Premiere, Lana Gatto super soft, Drops Merino Extra fine, YarnArt Merino delux, Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine, etc. It is better to use 100% merino yarn with a high twist in the ply.

SIZE

The neck warmer is designed for an adult female. Stitch calculation in this pattern is provided for a neck warmer to fit approx. 55-58 cm head circumference. There are detailed instructions for calculations to make other sizes based on your gauge.

Thanks to the peculiar technique of “horizontal ribbing” the neck warmer is elastic, stretches well width-wise comfortably hugging your neck.

The neck warmer is made in one piece using turning rows, starting from the side. There are two types of the short rows that are used to create widening wedges for the shoulders. At the end you will join the starting and the final rows using the crochet hook.
