…this lovely set features a cable design by Elizabeth Zimmerman – Sheepfold – using a delicate travelling cable. Where Elizabeth saw sheep enclosures, I see ribbon, with subtle decreases used for shaping. The cowl tapers from bottom to top, allowing the piece to fall gracefully around neck & shoulders. This design is easily adaptable to various yarn weights, but here is featured in Elsebeth Lavold’s Silky Wool, taking full advantage of the beautiful color & drape of this yarn.
Directions & charts for the matching hat are also included.

Hat: Small/Medium 18½”/47cm (Medium/Large 20”/51cm) x 8¾”/22cm (9½/24cm) high

Cowl - 235 yds dk wt /210m
Hat – 145(165) yds dk/130(150m)

Separate charts are provided for cowl & both hat sizes, as well as modifications for using different weight yarns.
