Ribcage Square
This gothic crochet square features a spine and rib bones. The finished square is quite “airy” with big holes, so it’s best suited as a decorative element to projects, or as a deliberate choice for more lightweight granny square cardigans. To make this square you’ll use picots, double crochets, trebles and even double trebles, along with the more usual single crochets and chains. This guide includes a chart at the end to aid with creating the square, along with plenty of progress pictures to go with each round. Suitable for intermediate crocheters.
When made with medium weight yarn and size 3,5mm hook, the resulting square
measures about 14×14cm, or 5.5×5.5 inches.
This 10-page digital PDF contains row-by-row crochet patterns for creating the square and has a lot of progression pics for help. It also has a chart/graph of the finished square.
The PDF is in english and uses US terminology.
