And easy project, this scarf started from a vintage stitch pattern book. It can be made wider or narrower by adding/subtracting in multiples of 6 stitches. Try a yarn substitution and use the recommended needle size on the ball band. Consider making up a swatch to see if you like the results but gauge is not important unless you want the match the finished size of the original scarf. The scarf can be worn without blocking (as I did with the original) but if you want to emphasize the eyelets, blocking is suggested. If you want a longer or wider scarf, purchase an additional skein of each yarn for safe measure. I used 1 skein of the Kidsilk Haze and 2 skeins of the Seduce.
