In the photos, the more subtly marled hat is knit in 2 solid colored yarns, one medium blue and one forest green. The more brightly marled hat is knit in one solid white yarn and one multicolored yarn.

Sizes: baby (toddler/young child, older child, adult small, adult large)

Finished Measurements: 13 (15, 17, 19, 21)” around. Ribbed fabric will be very stretchy, so I recommend chosing a size just smaller than the desired head circumference.

Needles: US Size 5 16” circular needle and DPNs or preferred method of working small circumference or size needed to obtain gauge

Yarn: 35 (40, 45, 50, 60) grams each of 2 contrasting colors of fingering weight yarn.

Gauge: 5sts and 6 rows = 1” in 1x1 rib, unstretched with 2 strands held together.
