Ridge Tee
The Ridge Tee~
The Ridge Tee is a drop shoulder style top that is constructed from the top down and is worked both flat and in the round. It is worked in a simple textured pattern alternating knit and purl rows to create the ‘ridges’. It has a boxy shape, a crewneck and a finished length that hits at the waist. It has a slightly oversized fit of 4-5” 10-13cm of positive ease. The model in the pictures is wearing a size M and has a bust circumference of 35.5” 90cm.

Gauge: 21 sts x 34 rows/rounds = 4 x 4” 10 x 10 cm in pattern, on US 6, 4mm needles, blocked.
1) knit 5 rows of stockinette stitch
2) knit 3 rows
Repeat rows 1 & 2 until gauge swatch measures at least 4 x 4” 10 x 10cm.
Needle Size: US 6, 4mm 24”+ circular needles for body or size needed to obtain gauge
US 5, 3.75mm 24”+ circular needles or one size smaller than gauge needle for i-cord cast off
US 3, 3.25mm 16” circular needles for the neck opening or 3 sizes smaller than gauge needle
