Welcome to our 2025 Birthstone Blanket Crochet-a-Long! This blanket series will have 12 different and fun stitch sampler squares, this listing is for the April Ridged Chevron digital pattern file only.

Each stitch sample can be used for all sorts of projects outside of the blanket crochet-a-long and can be made with any yarn type for whatever project you have in mind! To follow along with the Birthstone Blanket CAL, you will need approximately 120-200 yards of worsted weight yarn. This pattern uses basic stitches and is considered beginner-friendly.

Using the hook and yarn suggested (size 4 medium weight yarn, 5.50 mm hook), the Ridged Chevron Afghan Block, at 15 rows (without the single crochet border), measures approximately 12” (30.48 cm). The Ridged Chevron stitch can be used in any project.
