Ridged Triangular Shawl by Leslie Weber

Ridged Triangular Shawl

This pattern is available as a free Ravelry download

The shawl could be knitted in any weight of yarn from fingering to worsted. It features a simple two-row ridge pattern set off by smooth stocking stitch. The project is suitable for any level of experience, although familiarity with “top-down” triangular shawl construction is an asset.

The original shawl was worked in an alpaca-merino sportweight. Cotton, linen or hemp would make a wonderful summer piece.

Please note that yardage requirements are not stated, other than the example of the original relatively large shawl (approximately 850 yds in sportweight). Suggestions for adjusting the size are given in the pattern.

Written pattern.
