This is a crescent-shaped shawl that is worked from the neck down and made using one skein of Zauber Flower, 100% merino yarn - 656 yards per 150 gram ball - Color #1505 or 625 yards of a fingering weight yarn. A size 5 circular needle is used.

This pattern consists of both charts and written instructions. All wrong-side rows are purled, except for the two beginning-of-row and two end-of-row edge stitches. It may be helpful to use stitch markers, but you will have to move them when working sl1, k2tog, psso on charts 2-4. Even with this slight variation, the charts are not highly complex. The lace patterns are simple and repetitive, but there is enough variety of stitch patterns to maintain the knitter’s interest. For the bind-off, I recommend using a stretchy method, such as the yarn-over bind off.
