This simple triangular shawl is worked from the bottom up with increases every other row. It was designed to use the maximum amount of yardage from one skein of yarn, but can easily be continued to make a larger shawl. It would also work well for handspun yarn, though I do recommend a minimum of 375 yards to make it wide enough to wrap around your shoulders.

A note about this pattern, when knitting, the angle is quite acute. This changes drastically with aggressive blocking.

This was designed using Sweet Georgia Yarns silk crush and shawl measures 45”x21” inches.
