The Ridgevale Beach Baby Blanket gives the appearance of a lace patchwork blanket, without all the fuss of finishing.

Blanket is worked seamlessly, in one piece.
Pattern consists of beautiful and easy lace squares, surrounded by garter stitch borders on all sides.

Pattern includes clearly written instructions.
Finished measurements are approx. 26” x 30”, after blocking.

Required skills include casting on, knitting, purling, k2tog and ssk (decreases), yo (increases) and binding off.

Materials required include approximately 600 yds worsted weight yarn and size 8 circular needles, 24” - 32”.

Recommended Gauge is 4.5 stitches = 1” in stockinette stitch.
Although the blanket is knit with lace stitches, gauge is provided in stockinette stitch, for ease in substituting yarns.
Change needle size as necessary, to achieve correct gauge and/or a fabric that you like.
Since this is a blanket, exact gauge is not critical. It will, however, affect the finished size and amount of yarn used.

Sample was knit using 3 skeins of Vintage, color 5108 (Stone).
