In my never ending quest for developing ridiculously easy yet stylish knitting designs for my beginner knitters, I’ve come up with the Ridiculously Easy Lacy Scarf or Shawl.

If you are a novice, beginner, intermediate or advanced knitter, I think you’ll be delighted with this pattern. THERE ARE NO PURL STITCHES, NO SHAPING, NOTHING MUCH TO MEMORIZE AND IT’S A QUICK KNIT!

I made this as a scarf because my husband’s gift certificate to the local yarn shop only bought me two skeins of Noro Yarns’ magnificent bulky yarn “Iro.” I think you’ll agree it worked up gorgeous! But I think this will work up nicely in any bulky yarn, whether a self-striping or solid color. It would also make a stunning shawl so I included instructions for that too.

For added luxury and a bit of sparkle, I created fringes with a splash of Czech glass beads. But you don’t have to do that if you don’t want to.

As with all my designs, if you have any questions as you work up the project, please contact me. I’m always available to help my knitters. I want you to have a fun experience with a spectacular result
