Rikke Cozy Sweater
Rikke Cozy Sweater is a soft and comfortable sweater with a clean, timeless, and graphic look. It has a relaxed fit with approximately 15-25 cm / 6-10 in of positive ease and is designed to become a sweater you’ll want to wear again and again. Rikke (shown in the photos) has a bust circumference of 97 cm / 38¼ in and is wearing size L, giving approximately 26 cm / 10.25 in of positive ease.
The classic Rikke-rib pattern forms the foundation of the design, creating the beautiful, carefully considered details that characterize the Rikke collection (see the entire collection here). The rib pattern highlights the raglan lines and continues elegantly down along the sides of the body. It is the signature pattern featured throughout all of Rikke’s designs, with the exception of the Bloom series.
The sweater can be knitted in three different yarn qualities, each giving it its own unique character – from the ultimate luxury of Önling No 1, to the exclusive combination of Önling No 4 and Önling No 10, or the crisp stitch definition of Önling No 3.
Designed by Rikke Jönsson. Pattern by Katrine Hannibal for Önling.

Procedure
The sweater is worked in the round from the top down in stripes with raglan increases and short rows to shape the back neckline for a comfortable fit. After the yoke is complete, the work is divided into body and sleeves. The signature Rikke rib pattern continues from the raglan lines and flows elegantly down along the sides of the body. The body is worked in the round and finished with a rib hem. The sleeves are worked in the round and may either be worked straight, as shown in the photos, or shaped with decreases for a more fitted silhouette. Both sleeves are finished with a rib hem.
