Rimbalzi means “Ricochet” in Italian. The traveling ribs ricochet off the sides of the sock and travel back in to the center.

This sock pattern is not for the faint of heart. It is a difficult pattern with some very interesting cable needle maneuvers :). The pattern is charted. There are many pages of charts, but don’t let that scare you too much -- you only need to print the ones for your size!

The sock is knit from the top down, and the large size may require 2 skeins of sock yarn. The pattern is not overly stretchy, so be sure to check fit early and often.

This pattern is available for sale through Ravelry downloads. Version 06.29.09 has condensed charts for easier printing. You can still download the one with separate charts for each size if you like.

50% of pattern sales from January 19th through January 31st will be donated to Doctors without Borders.
