This shawlette is more like a scarf, except that it has subtle triangular shape to it. It is very long and narrow, though the pattern includes suggestions to increase the depth of the shawlette (which affects the length or yardage), you could also make this shawlette asymmetrical by choosing to not work any of the decrease rounds. As you will see from the pictures, it can be worn in a variety of styles.

Due to the end to end construction, it is a very versatile pattern and will work with any weight of yarn and yardage. Simply work 1/2 of your yarn with increases and then decrease for the second half of your yarn.

A rindle means brook or stream of water and the colors from the Mala colorway, of MadelineTosh Merino Light, made me think of a babbling brook or river with the rocks, algae, grass and water. I took a creative license with the spelling to come up with Rindell.

This pattern includes all known errata from the LYS Tour handout, which can also be seen in the comments.
