The french version of the pattern will be exclusively available through the De Rerum Natura website for the first 6 month.

Colorwork and stripes, a wide neckline circular yoke, a lot
of ease for a comfy fit and a split hem, are all exactly what I
wanted in a sweater right now. I enjoyed the yarn and colors
so much and loved seeing it grow on my needles. I hope you
do as well!

PATTERN NOTES:

Ringell is worked in the round from the top down, starting
with the yoke. Short rows are used to lower the front and
make a more comfortable fit at the neckline. Once yoke
colorwork and shaping are completed, the work is separated
into body and sleeves. Both are finished in a colorwork stripe
pattern worked in the round.

The pattern includes charts for the yoke colorwork and the
colorwork stripes for body and sleeves.
It also provides some helpful tips and suggestions
on how you can adjust it to suit your own preferences, as well as an extra blanc sleeve chart for modification and a coloring page to try out and play around with different color combinations.

SIZES:

1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9)

to fit chest circumference 75 (85, 95, 105, 115) (125, 135,
145, 155) cm/30 (34, 38, 42, 46) (50, 54, 58, 62)“

I recommend choosing a size with 15-25 cm/6-10”positive
ease at the chest to get a comfortable fit. Sample is worn with
approx. 18 cm/7”positive ease.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

Chest circumference: 90 (100, 110, 120, 130) (140, 150, 160,
170) cm/36 (40, 44, 48, 52) (56, 60, 64, 68)“.

See detailed measurements shown in schematic in photos.

NEEDLES:

4.0 mm/US 6 circular needle (100 cm/40”, 80 cm/32” and
60 cm/24”) or size needed for gauge, for sweater body and
sleeves.

You may have to use a needle one size larger for the
colorwork sections.

3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle (80 cm/32” and 60 cm/24”) or
one sizes smaller than larger needle, for ribbing at neckline
and cuff.

GAUGE:

24 sts and 32.5 rows in 10 cm/4” on larger needle in
colorwork pattern, worked in the round (blocked).
Row gauge is especially important for this design since it
defines the yoke depth and therefore the fit around the
shoulders.

YARN:

De Rerum Natura Ulysse (100% Wool - Merino; 185 m (202
yd)/50g).

Sample shown in colorways Bryère (MC), Poivre Blanc (CC1)
and Brouillard (CC2).

Or any other sport weight yarn that gives you the correct
gauge.
