Rionnag is knitted from the brim up and features an attractive starburst crown and comfortable slouchy fit. This pattern is easily adjusted to suit your personal style and can be knitted in any weight and looks awesome in hand dyed and hand spun yarns making it a perfect stash buster.

Recommended Materials and Equipment

  • 100g of Aran weight yarn - sample used approx 125m of Sealy MacWheely BFL and Tussah Silk Aran - roughly 75g of yarn

  • 5mm circular needles with up to 40cm long cable - 4 inch tips recommended

  • Tapestry needle

  • Button for decoration

  • Double Pointed Needles - optional for crown decrease or can use magic loop method as preferred
