The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Using a 3.5mm hook will be approx. 81cm high & 73cm wide. 32inches high & 29inches wide

I use stylecraft aran yarn but any aran yarn is suitable.
Gauge is not important

Why not add an applique to your blanket. There’s lots in my Ravelry store
