Pattern Notes
This pattern uses US terminology when referring to stitches
This pattern assumes you know how to make a magic ring
The Ripple Stitch requires a multiple of 12 stitches.
The number of rounds creates in section 1 will determine how many ripples you have around the hat (eg 7 rounds = 7 ripples)
It is recommended you have at least 5 rounds to avoid giving the hat a square look
dc x 2 = dc in one stitch followed by a dc in the next stitch
2dc = 2 double crochets in the same stitch
Always mark your first stitch
