Made with T-shirt yarn, this ripple rug works up quickly and easily (if following the pattern exactly), and the finished rug makes a beautiful addition to any passageway or bedroom - it looks stunning alongside a bed!

A rug of approximately 140 cm x 65 cm will use between five and six 500 g skeins of T-shirt yarn. Fewer or more rows can be worked to obtain rugs of different lengths.

The only additional material required is a large-eye needle, with which to weave in the ends.

Two crochet hook sizes have been suggested for this written crochet pattern, as it is always easier to begin your work with a slightly larger crochet hook (the starting chain is then looser, and easier to work into).

Placing the finished rug on non-slip mesh is advised if it is to be used on a tiled floor.
