The Ripple Throw Blanket has a beautiful zig zag chevron technique. The stitch repeat is simple and beginner friendly. You can work this pattern mindlessly while watching your favorite show.

The throw blanket uses Medium #4 Weight Yarn. Bernat Baby Velvet used in the photos, 2 skeins each of Misty Grey and Emerald. Any 4 Weight yarn will do, I’m making a second one using 3 skeins of Yarnsporations Caron Big Cakes Yarn. Pattern is also worked with a J 6mm Crochet Hook.

I completed the look by adding tassels to each chevron. This step is optional. Step-by-step and photo tutorial is included for how to make tassels.
