Ripple Washcloth
✨ THIS PATTERN UNLOCKS IN THE BRIANA K APP
Your purchase includes the printable PDF and the interactive version in the Briana K app. Check off every row, never lose your place, and plan your colors before you buy the yarn.
〰️ A little ripple for every sink.
The Ripple Crochet Washcloth packs a classic zigzag into a quick, useful make. It comes in two sizes, each one fits in a single ball of cotton, and the ridged texture gives it just enough scrub for dishes, counters, or the bath. Make a stack in different colors and you’ve got an easy housewarming or hostess gift.
It’s worked flat in one piece from the bottom edge up. Every wrong side row goes into the third loop of the half double crochet, which gives the ripple its raised texture. A round of Clean Single Crochet around the outside keeps the points crisp. There’s no shaping anywhere, so it’s a relaxing way to learn the ripple. My sister Kirsten designed, crocheted, and filmed this one herself.

✨ What makes it work
- Same two rows, both sizes. Only the starting chain and row count change.
- One ball each. A single ball of cotton makes either size.
- Points that line up. Both edges ripple at the same columns, so the zigzag matches end to end, and the sides stay straight.
- A tidy finish. One round of clean single crochet keeps the edges crisp.
- You’re not on your own. Video tutorial, stitch chart, schematic, and written pattern included, plus blocking and care tips.
