Ripples in the Pool (Assigned Pooling Design)
by ADK- Deb
Ripples in the Pool is a ONE ROW pattern using the technique of assigned pooling. Change the stitch used when the color of the yarn changes.
In order for this pattern to work, you will need to use a “space dyed” yarn which has approximately 70-75% of the yarn in a main color or colors. 25-30% should be a contrast color. See photo at the bottom left for an example of a suitable yarn.
This shawl has a long shallow shape and can be easily styled in several ways. The increases create attractive elastic edges.
The blocked sample is 67” long and 20” deep.
