This doily is worked in rounds and is similar to a granny square. It has front post treble stitches worked in for added texture and design. It is worked in 5 different colors but would be beautiful in a solid color as well. It is made from Aunt Lydia’s size 10 crochet threads in Antique White, Copper Mist, Delft, Olive, and Aspen Multi, one 350 yard ball of each but it doesn’t take a whole ball of each to make. A size 7/1.65mm steel crochet hook was used. The center motif is worked and then each triangle motif is worked and joined on the go to the center motif so when you are finished there is nothing to do but weave in the loose ends.
