Black Sheep Creamery knits is available in print: buy it now

Black Sheep Creamery knits tells the story of Black Sheep Creamery and contains six knitting patterns highlighting the wool produced by the same sheep that provide milk for Black Sheep Creamery’s award winning sheep milk cheeses. Patterns include cabled mittens, color work hat, cabled cowl, textured socks, ribbed cardigan sweater, and beaded garter stitch shawl.

The riprap hat can be worked in stranded color work or a single color for a textured look.

Fully written and charted instructions.

Shown in Black Sheep Creamery Camano (red and white color work hat), Chehalis (white textured hat, natural gray and white color work hat), and hand spun (brown and white color work hat) from Black Sheep Creamery carded roving (natural brown) and combed top (natural white).

Color work hat requires 2 skeins of camano (1 each color) or 1 skein of Chehalis (1/2 skein of 2 colors for color work, or 1 skein for textured hat)

Happy knitting!
