The Rising Star Baby Blanket is a light weight and gorgeous crochet star baby blanket is a lovely gift for any expecting mother. With a color pattern created for three colors, this free crochet baby blanket pattern is perfect for anyone creating a blanket for a little one looking to enter the world.

This blanket is quick to work up once you get started and only consists of 35 rows!

This pattern is crochet easy-intermediate. You should know how to work in the round, single crochet and double crochet. There is a photo tutorial to help you through the first several rounds, as well as a detailed graphic to help you with stitch counts.

You can use any light (3) weight yarn you prefer. I used three colors, each skein I purchased was 4 oz or 340 yards.You can, of course, use a medium (4) weight or higher, but it will create a larger blanket.
