This is the intermediate-level PDF crochet pattern for the Rita mittens. It is written in English and in US terminology. The Rita mittens are a cosy, cute and practical winter accessory. They are pretty fast to crochet! The pattern includes detailed instructions and pictures for the technique used. The pattern is built around graphs as well as written instructions. It uses mostly half double crochet as well as slip stitches. The non-working yarn is carried throughout. The pattern also comes with a lookbook of my lovely testers’ versions of the mittens.

The pattern is graded for sizes 1–4 (see last picture for size chart and yardage). The gauge for the pattern in half double crochet stitches is 22 stitches x 15 rows (10 x 10 cm or 4 x 4 inches).
The materials needed are:

✿ 3 mm crochet hook (or hook to meet the gauge)
✿ Super fine (weight 1) yarn in three colours:
• some yarn suggestions: Rauma Finull, Tynn Peer Gynt by Sandnes Garn, DROPS Flora
✿ Scissors
✿ Measuring tape
✿ Tapestry needle
