Rita’s Wrap is a crescent-shaped lace piece that builds in layers from the center out. Made with a hank of your favorite hand-dyed lace-weight yarn--we chose one with a little squish to it--and blocked sharply to enhance the stitch definition and laciness, Rita’s perfect to accompany you on your summer travels.

Rita’s Wrap was named for our generous and supportive friend, Rita, an artist and maven in the world of crochet. Rita will head the list of patterns in our soon-to-be-released ebook, Rita and the Girls.

Post-blocking dimensions for Rita’s Wrap are 47 in. (119.3 cm) from tip to tip along the inner curve and 16 in. (40.6 cm) deep.

The following stitches were used: chain, double crochet, double treble crochet, foundation single crochet, half double crochet, single crochet, treble crochet. Stitch combinations of shells and V-stitches were also used.

The pattern pdf contains 11 photos, recipe information, and a print-and-go page.

Many, many thanks to our wonderful testers: Blacky67, laurbaker, CollieGrl64, and grenru!
