The cable pattern of this hat was inspired by the turquoise waters of the Yukon River as they cut their way through the tall basalt cliffs of Miles Canyon in Whitehorse, Yukon.

This unisex hat is knit in the round from brim to crown.

Sizing:
Adult. Fits head approximately 21 to 24 inches.
Approximately 9.5” in length from cast on edge to top of crown.

The size of the hat is determined by the gauge, and can be altered by changing the needle size or yarn thickness.

Going up or down a needle size or using a slightly heavier or lighter weight yarn will give you a larger or smaller hat.

Yarn:
DK weight superwash yarn.
231 yards, 100 grams.

US #4 / 3.5mm 16” circular needle.
US #6 / 4mm 16” circular and double pointed needles or longer circular for magic loop.
